Secondary Payer Card

We developed the Secondary Payer Card as a tool that works like an employee’s medical ID card. Employees present their Secondary Payer Card to their medical provider, and their provider bills Grenz Benefit Solutions & Administrators directly for covered services such as deductibles and co-insurance. With the Secondary Payer Card, we virtually eliminate the need for an employee to file a claim.
Once the provider bills us, we pay the provider directly, usually faster than they receive payment from the insurance company. We then provide members an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) clearly outlining what the Secondary Plan has paid, including any balance the patient may owe the provider.
In addition to the simplicity and ease of the Secondary Payer Card, employers love that each card is personalized to the company, genuinely tying the benefits offered back to them.
